🧠 Your audacity is a magnet

(here's how to be more BOLD)

I think people really underestimate how attractive it is to nerd out over what you’re passionate about instead of worrying if it’s cool.

THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…

1. The secret to being audacious

First: if you’re considering asking for something, making a move, or taking a leap, and your dominant feeling is “I’m not ready,” that’s not a problem. That’s fuel.

Research on “stress reappraisal” shows that when people reinterpret physiological stress - a racing heart, heightened alertness — as the body preparing for a challenge instead of not being ready for it, performance improves. Psychologists demonstrated this in high-pressure tasks like public speaking and timed tests. Participants who were told stress meant readiness performed better and showed healthier cardiovascular responses. The body wasn’t less activated, it was better understood.

Your body doesn’t know the difference between fear and importance. It just knows something matters. When you label that activation as danger, you freeze. When you label it as preparation, you move.

Second: confidence doesn’t come before action. It comes from it.

Self-Perception Theory shows that when internal signals like confidence or certainty are unclear, the brain looks to behavior for answers. When people act without strong external pressure, they infer beliefs from what they’ve done. In other words: I did the thing… maybe I’m the kind of person who can.

Audacity works because action becomes evidence. Applying before you feel qualified. Speaking up before you feel steady. Starting before you feel prepared. Each move gives your brain data. So stop asking, Do I feel ready? Start asking, What story will my brain tell after I do this ?

2. SIX secrets to happiness

Go to the concert even if no one else can make it. Nights like that tend to surprise you in the best ways.

Surround yourself with people who ask follow-up questions. You feel lighter around people who are curious about you.

Talk to strangers who seem interesting. Some of the best connections start with a spontaneous five seconds.

If you feel pulled to a city you’ve never been to, visit it. It might be because your soul has memories of it from a past life.

Trust that your crazy ideas are portals to better realities. Open one and you can shift the entire timeline of your life.

Invite people to things even if you think they’ll say no. You’ll be surprised how many people say yes.

3. Please never change…

If your past is heavy but your hope is louder…

If you compliment strangers like it’s second nature…

If you’ve carried pain but refuse to pass it on…

If your favorite version of yourself is the unfiltered one…

If you overshare a little because you’re excited…

If you do kind things without a second thought and let the universe handle the rest…

Some things I’m excited about…
