1. The entire point of a relationship is… truth.

In today’s episode of the podcast, I talk about why the breakup was necessary. At some point, you stopped feeling safe being honest. And love without emotional safety isn’t love, it’s strategy. The whole point of a relationship is to have one person you don’t have to pretend around. When that disappears, so does the foundation.

You became cautious with your words. You filtered your feelings. You stopped bringing things up—not because they didn’t matter, but because you already knew how they’d react. That’s not intimacy. That’s survival.

Maybe you tried. You communicated, soothed, and repaired. But they shut down, deflected, or turned it back on you. Slowly, you stopped turning to them at all. You became the peacekeeper, not the partner. Eventually, you realized: you were evolving around them, not with them. You were shrinking just to keep the peace. And in doing so, you were betraying yourself.

So yes, the breakup was necessary. Because truth couldn’t live there. And if truth can’t live there, neither can you. You deserve to be fully known, fully heard, and fully safe.

2. One day the tables turn.

I just want to say… there’s a version of you on the other side of this pain, of this transition, of this detour that life is throwing at you… and they’re laughing, thriving, and grateful you decided to let go of what wasn’t meant for you.

Why? Because one day the tables turn. Your crazy ideas are the reason you’re thriving and the people who doubted you are asking how you did it. You’re getting good morning texts that make you smile instead of waiting on ones that never come.

The tables do turn. And that’s when you receive long overdue upgrades that prove that all the waiting, healing, and hard work was worth it.

3. I hope these speak to you…

To everyone who set fire to their old life to start over… one day soon, you’ll call it the best thing you ever did.

To everyone who walked away even when you wanted to stay… one day soon, you’ll see that loyalty to yourself was the turning point. 

To everyone who finally said “I deserve better.”... one day soon the universe will deliver.

To everyone who stayed kind in a world that confuses kindness for weakness, one day soon you’ll see your kindness built your empire.

To everyone who had to rebuild yourself… one day soon, you’ll be living a life that feels like everything you ever prayed for.

To everyone who kept believing in good things even after losing so much… one day soon, life will prove you right.

To everyone who never let pain turn them cold… one day soon, that choice will open doors you can’t yet imagine.

To everyone who healed from wounds no one admitted causing… one day soon, you’ll live a life bigger than any apology.
