🧠Long story short...
it's your turn
If you’re in NYC this weekend, I’d love to meet you. I’m speaking at the iconic 92Y on the upper east side on Sunday September 14th. I’ll be joined by NYT Best Selling Author Sahil Bloom and we’ll be discussing how to create optimism in your life through mindfulness as well as my new book. Grab tickets here.
Here’s a mantra to guide you today: Good things come to those who trust the flow of life to guide them to where they belong.
Let’s get into it.
THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…
1. Infinite Optimism
Infinite optimism - the belief that life is not capped, setbacks are not the end, and our place in the universe is secure not because we control it, but because we are part of its infinite unfolding. Lose a job? You haven’t lost your future, there are countless paths. Love fails? It’s not your only chance, there are infinite new connections. The universe is always creating. Possibility never ends.
This idea was inspired by the work of Giordano Bruno (1548–1600), an Italian philosopher, poet, alchemist, and cosmological theorist. He valued wonder over certainty, invited people to ask “what if?,” and insisted that creation is continuous and nothing truly final.
From this, I see four teachings that underpin infinite optimism:
Abundance is your default. Just as there are infinite stars, there are infinite opportunities. A breakup or job loss doesn’t mark the end, there are more chances than you can count.
You are not the center, but you matter. Life isn’t about control or perfection. It’s about participation and contribution. The universe doesn’t revolve around you and that’s freeing.
Wonder beats certainty. Choose curiosity over certainty. Ask “what else is possible?” instead of assuming “this is all there is.”
Possibility never ends. Even when one chapter feels final, the cosmos itself insists there are more.

2. “That’s none of my business”
Say this to yourself the next time you’re worrying about someone’s opinion or trying to control something you have no business trying to control.
“THAT’S NONE OF MY BUSINESS.”
Someone whispers about you when you leave the room? None of my business.
A stranger thinks your outfit is questionable? None of my business.
Someone say you should be living your life differently? None of my business.
3. Long story short, it’s your turn.
It’s your turn. Because one day the tables turn. Your crazy ideas are the reason you’re thriving and the people who doubted you are asking how you did it. You’re getting good morning texts that make you smile instead of waiting on ones that never come.
The tables do turn. And that’s when you receive long overdue upgrades that prove that all the waiting, healing, and hard work was worth it.
