🧠Yes, you are out of their league
...here's how to know
People who can’t handle their own darkness will try to dim your light. Don’t let them.
Here are three mindsets to help you keep shining and living in a way that makes sense for YOU.
My book “That’s Bold of You” is 30% off for a limited time on Amazon.

THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…
1. This is why you are “out of their league”
Listen to my new podcast episode where I talk about how to prove that you are out of their league. I talk about how moving past bare minimum elevates you beyond people who only have that to offer.
Are you in alignment with yourself?
Have you owned your past mistakes?
Do you refuse to tolerate bare minimum?
Listen here.
2. A short reminder…
Can I be real for a sec? You’re nothing like the people who hurt you. And that’s why you’re just gonna keep getting hotter, happier, and more at peace.
3. What’s the rush?
What’s the rush, my friend? Seriously! Do you have somewhere to be? Are you running late? Do you have some appointment I’m unaware of?
Slow down. Your schedule is wide open. Hear me out.
With few exceptions, I don’t think anyone who is successful, fulfilled, or happy right now had a specific destination or time in mind to achieve it. They didn’t set a timer and say “I have to be there by this time!” No! Those happy, fulfilled and successful people arrived there in due time. They arrived there in a cloud of dust, beat up, messy but smiling.
Yes, of course they wanted to get there sooner and they probably had a vision for what it might look like, but I’m willing to bet that if you asked them they’d say it’s not exactly what they set out to do. It's not exactly "on schedule."They’d say they went in circles for quite some time, got served up some humble pie and made a couple wrong turns until they finally arrived there. But in retrospect they weren’t late, they were right on time.
That’s life for ya. Everyone’s journey is a mess. I don’t care what someone’s Instagram looks like or what that headline says about them… it wasn’t a straight line getting there. They weren’t right on schedule getting what they wanted.
So, what’s your rush? You don’t have to be somewhere by a specific time.
I don’t say that to buy time or to rationalize why you’re not successful yet, why you haven’t found that special person yet, or why you don’t have that house, car, etc. I say it because it’s true. There’s no ticking clock in the background saying you’re late.
You’re not late! You’re right on time.
- That person who finally hit that six figure salary? They wanted it a long time ago but it was the in-between jobs and experience that led them to this moment. They’re here now!
- That person who finally found their soulmate? They wanted it a long time ago but it was the in-between partners and relationships that made them realize this is THE PERSON for them.
- That person who finally found their confidence? They wanted it a long time ago but it was the in-between experiences that built that confidence. Without it, they wouldn’t have it right now.
My point is… the mess is what makes you. You need the mess. You can’t skip it.
Don’t think you’re up against the clock. You’re not supposed to be anywhere but where you are today. Yes, work hard. Don’t take 'no' for an answer. Grind, hustle, push yourself but please don’t feel like that person you look up to or follow on IG skipped their mess. They embraced their mess and here they are.
Don't feel embarrassed by where you are. Your path is your path. If it’s a mess and you’re thinking the clock is ticking… that's ok! It means you’re learning. You’re finding your stride.
You can’t skip this part of the mess! Anyone who has their life “together” right now embraced their mess and here they are.
That’s you. Doing your thing at your own pace.
You have nowhere to be right now but right here.
That’s it for today. Until Monday.
