🧠Good things come to those who are good to others
(good karma is VERY real)
Optimism is a magnet for good things. Decades of research show that optimistic people are statistically more likely to have higher income, better health, longer relationships, and greater creative success because their brains literally become more open to opportunity.
I've led 44 keynotes/workshops this year and am convinced now more than ever of the power of creating optimism with handwritten pieces of clarity. If you’re interested in having me lead my “Language of Optimism” keynote for your organization or community, check out this page.
Let’s get into today’s 3 mindsets.
THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…
1. Good karma is VERY real
Reputation is karma measured in human terms. People remember how you made them feel. They tell others. They respond accordingly. That’s why honesty, humility, and follow-through build equity. People root for you. They introduce you. They give you the benefit of the doubt. Those small advantages compound over time. The long game always collects.
You tell the truth once, and someone remembers. You follow through when it’s inconvenient, and someone learns you’re reliable. You show kindness with nothing to gain, and someone feels safe around you. Those moments add up. They don’t disappear - they accumulate in minds, in rooms, in networks. Eventually, they return to you as opportunity, loyalty, and peace.
So don’t wait for cosmic payback. Build good karma like you’d build a portfolio — with patience, integrity, and repetition. Because in the end, the universe doesn’t keep score. People do. And when they trust you, everything good finds its way back.

2. Moral of the story?
It took me 37 years to realize some of these truths. Which of them do you relate to?
Moral of the story? The toughest chapters of life can lead to the most beautiful stories of reinvention.
Moral of the story? It’s better to be alone than lonely with someone who doesn’t value you.
Moral of the story? You are too full of life to chase someone who only looks back to ensure you’re still following.
Moral of the story? Sometimes everything falls into place after it feels like it’s all falling apart.
Moral of the story? Sometimes they play the victim so they don’t have to admit they were the one who hurt you.
3. The benefits of dating you
Let me hype you up a bit…
Benefits of dating you? You bring “let's book a flight and go” energy to every moment. You don’t play games, you just say what you mean. You’re emotionally available - aka an actual unicorn these days. You’re a “I don't do drama, I do comedy” person. You bring your full weirdness to the table on date one without worrying if it’s too much..
You’re just gonna keep getting hotter, smarter, and spicier.
