THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…

1. Faith and patience

Listen to today’s podcast where I talk about the keys to life - faith and patience. I talk about why patience isn’t passive, it’s active. Patience isn’t about waiting, it’s about knowing.

2. Flip your standards

We need to flip our standards upside down because we’ve got them totally reversed..

Compatibility and the “right person” is not not about who’s “interested” in you… it’s about who is consistent.

It’s not about who makes promises, it’s about who keeps them.

It’s not about who initiates, it’s about who follows through.

It’s not about who compliments you, it’s about who understands you.

It’s not about who wants you, it’s about who deserves you.

Reverse your standards and watch how that changes your dating life.

3. Head full of memories vs. head full of regret

“The difference between a head full of memories, and a head full of regret, is your ability to forgive yourself.”

That quote right there is the key to full, not perfect, but full life. That’s a life where you open yourself to everything and you forgive yourself for any missteps along the way.

So, what is something you’re struggling to forgive yourself for? Regret that you’re hanging onto. A past relationship that wasn’t right but you stuck it out? A business you started and it failed? A moment where you didn't speak up but should have?

If you really think about it, it was a moment in the past where you made a mistake but at the time you trusted yourself. You trusted that you should see potential with your ex. You trusted that you should try that new business venture. You trusted that not speaking, playing it cool, matching energy, etc. was the right decision for YOU.

In that moment it was simply you making a decision based on trust in yourself.

Let’s simplify forgiveness because it can take a long time to fully come to peace with your past. Let’s get practical. When you’re struggling to forgive yourself, you’re really struggling to trust yourself again. To forgive yourself is to trust yourself again. It’s to give yourself a second chance to get it right.

To forgive yourself is to create new memories. It’s to step into second chances. Trusting yourself is forgiving yourself. That’s trusting that whatever decision you make - whether it leads to the best outcome or not - you're at peace with YOU.

That’s it for today. Until Monday.
