🧠 You deserve clarity, not confusion

(what does this look like?)

mindfulness for rule breakers, free spirits, & inner peace enthusiasts

It's rare to find people who make you feel seen and heard in a world full of noise. Cherish them.

Here are three mindsets to help you create your own clarity in life.

THREE mindsets to help you reflect, rebel, and reinvent…

1. Clarity, not confusion

Listen to today’s podcast about what clarity looks like in your relationships. It’s not just about knowing where you stand with someone else, it’s about knowing yourself.  You deserve someone who lights up your path, they don’t dim your glow. They amplify your strengths, not your insecurities.  They set your soul on fire.

  • Confusion vs. clarity

2. Research says weird = attractive

If you want rewarding relationships and friendships you have to embrace what makes you weird.

I genuinely believe a secret to happiness is to be as weird as you like and the wrong people will leave the party but the right ones will join the dance.

Sounds like nice internet advice, right? But the research actually supports this.

A study from 2014, for instance, challenged the myth of weirdness as a turnoff. Across cultures, languages, men, and women, it found that weird, eccentric people, different people are actually the winners when it comes to attraction. Researchers had participants rate dating profiles of conformists (normal people, go with the flow, do as expected) and non-conformists (people marching to the beat of their own drum). And the result was non-conformists, the oddballs, were more desirable as romantic partners.

But more than that, not only is weirdness what draws the right people in, it strengthens your bond with them. Researchers at the University of Kansas, found, no shock, that couples who laugh a lot stay together longer. But moreso “What is strongly related to relationship satisfaction is the humor that couples CREATE together.” That’s two weird people being weird and laughing together.

So celebrate the parts of you that don't quite fit the mold. Your oddball humor, your off-the-wall hobbies, your laugh that’s funnier than the joke… those aren't just personality traits, they draw in the people meant for you and they strengthen your relationship with them.

3. EIGHT mantras for you

Life is better when you surround yourself with people whose kindness isn’t a strategy, it’s a way of life.

Life is better when you decide your worth is not a group decision.

Life is better when you ignore ”realistic” expectations and let yourself go rogue for a while.

Life is better when you decide an unexpected detour is just the universe nudging you toward where you truly belong.

Life is better when you decide your unfiltered self is your greatest gift.

Life is better when you start seeing redirection as an upgrade.

Life is better when you’d rather be labeled as “difficult” than allow yourself to be treated as a doormat.

Life is better when you decide setbacks don’t define you, they refine you.

That’s it for today. Until Thursday,
